Lexcom Legal is a director-led Auckland firm advising on local property and commercial matters across New Zealand, with the rigour and continuity that owner-led counsel brings.
Our practice
Concentrated by choice.
Lexcom is small by design. A boutique structure means the lawyer you first speak with is the lawyer who handles your matter, drafts your documents, and signs the advice. That continuity removes friction, accelerates decisions, and gives clients a single line of accountability from intake to settlement.
We focus deliberately on two practice areas: property and commercial. Within those, we have built our depth, our templates, and our judgement. Outside of them, we will tell you plainly and refer you to a firm whose specialty better fits the work.
We are based in Sylvia Park, Auckland, and act for clients across New Zealand. Our conveyancing files travel from Northland to Otago, and our commercial work supports businesses incorporated here and abroad.
Our director is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and is committed to clients here. That commitment shows up in how carefully we read contracts, how patiently we work through detail, and how we keep every file in owner-led hands from start to finish.

The director
Manoj Isuru Kotigala.
Manoj read law at the University of London (LLB Hons) and went on to complete an LLM with Honours at the University of Auckland. He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and practises here in Auckland.
That training shapes the way Lexcom advises Auckland clients: with attention to detail, respect for procedure, and an awareness that the best counsel is rarely the loudest. Manoj consults in English and Sinhala.
