Profile

Path to practice.

Richa Sharma-Pickles trained in Delhi, India, where she completed her Economics (Hons), a Diploma in Software Engineering, and her LLB. That cross-disciplinary grounding sits behind a legal practice that is equally comfortable with detail, structure, and the commercial logic that drives most client decisions.

A move to New Zealand followed, and an LLM at the University of Waikato sharpened her focus on New Zealand law. As an overseas-qualified lawyer now admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister of the High Court of New Zealand, Richa offers clients a blend of international legal insight and New Zealand-focused expertise.

Fluent in both Hindi and English, Richa works closely with clients to manage matters efficiently and with precision, ensuring they are supported by clear, confident guidance at every stage of the process. Her approach is characterised by strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and a focus on delivering outcomes aligned with her clients' interests.

Her practice centres on residential and commercial conveyancing, including sale and purchase of businesses and real estate property, commercial leasing, refinancing transactions, estate administration, Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPOAs), and relationship property matters. Richa is highly regarded for building trusted, long-term client relationships and for navigating complex legal matters with discretion, clarity and professionalism.

Outside her practice, Richa values time with her family and enjoys travelling.
